The number of treatments depends on your skin concerns and goals. Most skin rejuvenation treatments require a course of 1–3 sessions, while laser hair removal is typically recommended as a course of 6 sessions for the best long-term results.

Downtime varies depending on the treatment performed and your individual skin response. You may experience temporary redness, warmth, mild swelling or a slight darkening of pigmentation before it naturally clears. Most clients return to normal activities quickly, but your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare advice to support your recovery and results.

For most skin rejuvenation treatments, we recommend avoiding makeup for 24 hours to allow your skin to recover. Your practitioner will provide personalised aftercare advice.

To ensure your skin is safe and ready for treatment, please follow these guidelines:

Avoid sun exposure
Avoid sunbeds, sunbathing and intentional tanning for at least 4 weeks before treatment. Please avoid fake tan for 1 week before your appointment.

Pause active skincare
Avoid strong active ingredients before treatment, including:

• Retinol / prescription retinoids
• AHAs, BHAs and exfoliating acids
• Strong resurfacing products

Your practitioner will advise when these can be safely restarted.

Avoid other treatments
Please avoid:

• Chemical peels
• Dermaplaning
• Microdermabrasion
• Waxing, threading or plucking (for laser hair removal)

Please arrive with clean skin and no makeup, SPF, moisturiser, oils or deodorant on the treatment area.

For laser hair removal, shave the area 24 hours before your appointment. Do not wax or pluck, as the hair follicle needs to remain intact for treatment.

Please let us know before treatment if you have had recent sun exposure, started new skincare products, are taking medication or have any skin concerns.

Following your laser treatment, your skin may feel warm and appear slightly red, similar to a mild sunburn. This is a normal response as your skin begins its natural renewal process.

Protect your skin

• Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every day and avoid direct sun exposure.
• Avoid sunbeds and tanning for at least 4 weeks after treatment.

Keep your skin calm

• Use gentle, hydrating skincare products.
• Avoid active ingredients including retinol, prescription retinoids, AHAs, BHAs and exfoliating products until your practitioner advises they can be restarted.
• Avoid introducing new skincare products while your skin is recovering.

Avoid heat and irritation
For the first 24–48 hours, avoid:

• Hot baths, saunas and steam rooms
• Intense exercise
• Swimming
• Scrubs or exfoliating treatments

For laser hair removal

• Avoid waxing, threading or plucking between sessions.
• Shaving is recommended if needed.
• Hair may continue to shed over the following days and weeks as the follicle responds to treatment.

Depending on your treatment, you may experience:

• Mild redness
• Warmth or sensitivity
• Slight swelling
• Temporary darkening of pigmentation before it naturally clears
